Students Interview Chemistry

Students might thought it was about learning about elements and doing experiments to make things explode before learning chemistry, after learning it students find chemistry is very interesting and how the characteristics of atoms work, but its very complicated once you indulge into the course. Some experiment you might do in the future is :

  • explored how hydrochloric acid affects the metal zinc

  • making volcanoes with baking soda and vinegar to demonstrate acid base reactions

  • Elephant Toothpaste Experiment by mixing different chemicals and their reactions

After studying chemistry students understand what everything is made of and what some experiments do and make. It changed the way that students believe everything works. And it changed the way student see development in the things around them and all the things that react to each other.

A lot of students think the balancing equation is very tricky and confusing when they are studying chemistry. Pay VERY close attention towards class discussions and don’t be stuck on one question when you’re doing a quiz to waste your time, if you can't get the answer skip it for now, do the questions that you know, and then back to think about the tricky questions if you have time. Another tricky thing is the measurements and how we’re supposed to do lab procedures. A good way is to read lab procedures more than once and if you still don’t get it ask someone and let yourself understand before the experiment.

Students likes to do labs, there will have some fun stuff like blowing things up or like different colours of fire. Another reason that they like to do labs is because they get to mix compounds. And usually in chemistry, we have to wear the lab coats and the goggles. It's fun for the students to get hands-on experience with the chemicals. And then sometimes there are chemical changes or physical changes that they can actually see. And things that don't see naturally in everyday life.
